Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about selling your idea to IdeaPurchase.
We consider ideas across a wide range of industries — technology, consumer products, services, apps, business models, and more. The key criteria are originality, market potential, and feasibility. We don't require a fully developed concept, but we do need enough detail to evaluate it.
No. You don't need a patent, prototype, business plan, or any formal documentation. We evaluate ideas based on the concept itself. If you have supporting materials, feel free to include them — but they're not required.
Absolutely. Every submission is treated with strict confidentiality. We do not share, publish, or disclose your idea to any third party without your explicit consent. Our team operates under internal confidentiality agreements.
We assess ideas based on market size, uniqueness, commercial viability, and how well the idea fits our current focus areas. We aim to make fair offers that reflect the real potential of the concept — not a lowball number.
Most evaluations are completed within 5–10 business days. If we need clarification or additional information, we'll reach out to you directly. You'll always hear back from us — even if we decide not to move forward.
Once the agreement is signed and payment is made, we take full ownership of the idea. We may develop it, license it, partner with others, or pursue it in any way we see fit. You retain no rights to the idea after the sale.
Yes. You can submit as many ideas as you like. Each submission is evaluated independently. There's no limit.
If we decide not to move forward, we'll let you know. The idea remains entirely yours — we make no claim to it. You're free to pursue it yourself or submit it elsewhere.
